Ideathon and the Youth Leadership Summit are pioneering efforts reflecting on the vision of the Government of Karnataka through its initiative of Brand Bengaluru to help the city become clean, green and sustainable. The Brand Bengaluru - Youth Leadership Summit was a day-long leadership event for school children towards promoting active citizenship at a younger age.
YOUTH LEADERSHIP SUMMIT
The YOUTH LEADERSHIP SUMMIT happened on 13th January, 2023 at Hotel Conrad Bengaluru. The summit was graced with eminent personalities like Mr. DK Shivakumar, Ms. Sudha Murty, Mr. Ramesh Aravind, Architect Anup Naik, former Director of CBSE Mr. Balasubramaniam, brand expert Mr. Ramesh Jude Thomas, senior IAS officers Dr. Shalini Rajneesh (IAS) and Mr. Tushar Girinath (IAS). All the guests shared their experiences with the students and the educators who were present for the event through their inspiring speeches to encourage and motivate the participating students to strive for excellence and to be solution-oriented citizens. The top 50 teams from the Brand Bengaluru Ideathon’23 were invited to be a part of this insightful event along with their teachers and principal. They were also given a citation by one of the guests during the event. The top 7 teams got the opportunity to present their ideas in front of these eminent guests, who encouraged and guided them by sharing their valuable feedback. The felicitation of the finalists, winners and the runner-up was done by the Honourable Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka, Mr. D.K.Shivakumar along with actor and director Mr. Ramesh Aravind.
